Strategies
Repeated Readings- Read the text orally once, to model fluent reading. Then have the child/student read the text aloud to you. Repeat the reading multiple times to improve fluency.
Echo Reading: Read the text aloud to the child/student, while they whisper read to follow along. This strategy will ensure they are able to pronounce unfamiliar words, as well as read with appropriate expression.
